Audiobooks and podcasts are a fast-growing area of publishing and promotion because busy people rely more and more on their ears to consume books and interviews. Join this team of experts for an insightful seminar on how to accomplish the goals of getting your book and book promotion into the audible range.
Part I
When promoting your book, podcasts are a great way to reach new audiences. Preparation is the key to a successful interview. Don't expect to wing it. Good interviewers will ask tough questions. After the roleplay exercise, the group will review how effectively the author-participant did and offer feedback. Each person will receive a worksheet of tips
Part II
The second part of this workshop will be a panel discussion on approaches to producing audiobooks. Turning your print book into an audiobook is a great way to build readership. Claudia Dunn, Yvette Keller, and Matthew Pallamary are all experienced audiobook narrators. They will provide a practical roadmap on how to accomplish the goal of putting your print book onto an audio platform.
Lois Phillips is the Author of Women Seen and Heard, Speaker’s Journal Workbook with Dr Anita Perez Ferguson, and The History of Women Speakers: When Women Spoke up, They Changed History.
